An Emirati managing director of a family-owned conglomerate sought to enhance visibility as an Arab woman leader and an ambassador for collaborative leadership and a champion for women’s rights. Despite a strong record of driving growth and diversification within the business, the public profile lacked:
- Clear positioning as a thought leader and advocate for women in business.
- Engagement with broader stakeholders, such as industry peers and professional networks.
- Cohesive strategies to align personal and professional goals with public branding.
Action
I designed and implemented a comprehensive personal branding roadmap tailored to the unique strengths and aspirations of this leader:
- Discovery and Framework Development
- Conducted a workshop to define core values—compassion, perseverance, and accountability—and leadership philosophy.
- Identified the ‘Caregiver’ archetype to emphasize nurturing leadership, empathy, and collaborative decision-making.
- Leveraged SWOT analysis to map actionable strategies that align with personal and professional objectives.

- Crafted a brand narrative focused on fostering collaboration, mentoring, and championing women’s leadership.
- Structured content around three pillars: Female Leadership, Personal Journey, and Community Engagement.
- Developed a messaging framework tailored to primary stakeholders (employees, partners, and family) and secondary stakeholders (media, peers, and professional associations).

- Designed a three-month content calendar, featuring topics like leadership insights, women’s empowerment, and community contributions.
- Optimized digital platforms with a consistent tone and messaging aligned with the brand archetype and narrative.

The roadmap set the foundation for:
