"I am on a mission to change how people find jobs"
Searching for a job can feel like one of life’s toughest journeys—a labyrinth of uncertainty, self-doubt, and the hope for a brighter future.
Haitham Alsalman knows this firsthand.
“You spend countless hours applying online, only to face rejection or complete silence. Even when recruiters reach out, they often vanish without explanation,” he says.
His struggles in the GCC job market revealed a harsh truth: the traditional job search often leaves qualified professionals unseen and undervalued.
When his corporate role ended in 2021, Haitham, who is Palestinian-Jordanian and has called UAE his home since childhood, found himself at a crossroads. Instead of succumbing to despair, he resolved to turn his challenges into opportunities.
He launched HAX Consulting to help executives uncover hidden opportunities with a systematic approach. “I’m on a mission to change how people find jobs,” he says.
Navigating financial pressures and family responsibilities, he faced the uncertainty and complexity of building a business from scratch. “There were moments I felt completely overwhelmed, but I knew I had to push forward for my family and my vision,” he says.
To overcome these challenges, he leaned on the very strategies he now teaches others.
Each rejection became a lesson, and every setback a stepping stone toward growth. By reframing failures as opportunities, he shifted his focus to networking and personal branding. Guided by mentors and driven by a commitment to continuous learning, he honed his approach and refined his business practices.
Today, HAX Consulting is reshaping how professionals navigate the job market. Its flagship program, Job Market Hacking, empowers executives to uncover opportunities, connect with recruiters, and secure meaningful roles.
“It’s often more about who knows you than just what you know,” he says.
His decision to share career insights in Arabic on LinkedIn was transformative. By discussing his own experiences, he bridged a cultural gap, built trust, and established expertise in job market consulting.
His journey has been profound. Professionally, it strengthened his resilience and entrepreneurial mindset. Personally, it has deepened his self-reliance and confidence.
“Helping others achieve their career goals has brought an immensely rewarding dimension to my life,” he says.
